Is there a 3rd person mod?

according to this Reddit post,at the time of release Obsidian was too busy working on other games as grounded to add a helpful feature..but the game Technically has 3rd person camera but it is when you're afk unfortunately

yea i noticed that, very strange they should updated then when they had time.

as the outer worlds 2 has been announced hopefully the Devs will add a 3rd person mode :)
