Console Commands
Does anyone know how to enable console commands yet? There are a few files on Nexus, but they seem to be geared for the EGS. I was hoping to play with cheats since I already beat the game a year ago on PS4.

To simplify the process for those unfamiliar;

1) Download SunBeam's injector (it's a zip file) from here[fearlessrevolution.com].

2) Extract the zip file anywhere, preferably within the same drive as the game directory. Inside it you will find the IGCSInjector.exe.

3) Go to steamapps\common\TheOuterWorlds\Indiana\Binaries\Win64 and rename the .exe file there to IndianaEpicGameStore-Win64-Shipping.exe.

4) If necessary, make sure that the appropriate directories are exempt from the scrutiny of your anti-virus.

5) Run the .exe you just renamed (which should open the game) then once you're at the main menu, switch to your desktop window [ALT+TAB] then run the IGCSInjector.exe and give it a moment.

6) You should now be able to access the in-game console commands using the Tilde key on your keyboard.

I keep hoping, because I've tried all sorts of things and nothing works. If I find something that does, I'll post it here

Thanks. I'll do the same if I find a solution.

I have tried changing process name in IGCSInjector.ini file to Steam version Process=Indiana-Win64-Shipping.exe (taken from task manager) and it kinda worked. So it had injected process, but then game crashed. :(
Not sure if game crushing is related to that this a different version.

Could anyone provide me with some instructions on how to enable 'console commands'? I'm not familiar with the process.

Try reading this https://www.nexusmods.com/theouterworlds/mods/1?tab=description
The question is will the current options work on steam or not.
The problem is I not worked out how to open the console yet even with the unreal unlocker who non console commands are working.

I'm not sure what you mean can you step by step it?

So the Unreal injector works in that the DLL is successfully injected, but only allows for the game to be paused using Numpad 0 and does not allow for the opening of the console using any key binding.
The Sunbeam injector tries to inject the dll, and crashes the game every time. In order to even get this far you have to change the .exe path in the .INI file for the sunbeam injector to the Steam executable.

Not sure what he's referencing here, and lots of people asking for clarification.

It works!
What kadashsouba meant was that instead of changing file name in IGCSInjector.ini file but to take file name from that file and change name of the file process you have started.
For that you need to go to the folder you have installed you game and then to ...\TheOuterWorlds\Indiana\Binaries\Win64 and to change .exe file name into IndianaEpicGameStore-Win64-Shipping.exe
I have just tried it and console appeared on ` button and game did not crashed.

However you would need to start game by clicking on that file, not from Steam or TheOuterWorlds.exe from the main folder

You Sir are my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hero! It works! You just create a shortcut to the file that you changed the name of and start the game that way!

I'm shocked, this actually worked. I'd altered the input.ini file to use Comma btw and this is the key that works for me.

So, thank you!

Okay. It's a bit backwards, but it works. I hope a better method comes along soon.

Next problem...
I used the code "RpgStatAddModifierDebug Strength_stat 2.5"
It brought my Strength attribute up from Average to Very High.
I made a new save then loaded the save, and the attribute reverted to average.

The only reason I was looking for the Console was to bring my attributes up to Very High for this play through. Is there a way to permanently adjust these stats?
