Does R.A.M. have any weaknesses?

Like maybe Shock or Corrosion? I expect it is immune to N-Ray and Plasma

Not immune, just not vulnerable. But N-Ray's damage over time makes up for it, and is good for the drones. But its main weaknesses aren't so much damage as knockdown/knockout. Anything that causes it to fall over will expose the big weak point on its back. The GLOOP gun, for instance, or Parvati's or Felix's specials.

You can also cheese it by standing back in the entrance room, luring it toward you, crouching near the door and shooting up under its shield. Can take a while, but done right it won't be able to hit you and it'll block its own drones from getting in.

I've found that Parvati/ SAM are good to bring because both can knock him down. Pop one of those consumables that decrease companion ability recharge rate by 50% and he basically will be on the ground the whole time. Then just take him to pound town.

RAM is almost to easy to defeat when you use your environment to your advantage. helps to have level 2 and 3 weapons too :). Saltuna searer ftw!

I gave one of my companions the mind control science weapon and had him use it preferentially. R.A.M was a sitting duck the vast majority of the time and I had a leisurely time beating him down (and occasionally taking out the security drones). This was on Hard btw.
