Can you revive companions on Supernova?
Supernova is the only way to play! But I'm annoyed that I haven't found a way to revive companions. Since I don't want to lose any, I restart from last save, which is often a while back on Supernova. (But, hey, I wanted a challenge!) It's especially annoying that the living companion will only say something like, "we have to help so-and-so!" after that companion has actually died. So I've had companions die before I even realized they were low on health.

So is there any way to revive companions or give them consumables to restore health before they die? They get 30% of my inhaler restore, but that sometimes leaves me sucking on it over and over to keep companions alive when my health is at max.

Yes. But only very late/at high level.
Last tier for companion perks (Second Wind ), and Tier 3 for your character's perk (Don't go dying on me).
Both perks have 15 minute cooldown.

Companions can be very annoying early on Supernova, but once you get them AR-s it's laughably easy.

The fact that this exists so far down the perk list is maddening. This should be at -least- in Tier 2, if not Tier 1. It would make Supernova -far- more reasonable.

Has anyone devised a mod to adjust it's perk position?

In the gorgon DLC, there's a weapon that will revive downed NPCs if you shoot it at them. Has anyone determined if it ( it is called, I believe, Employee Benefits) works on downed characters in Supernova? It'll be a looong time before I will be able to check on that myself.

It seems like in any other difficulty level besides supernova, the weapon has little purpose since if I really need them revived, I am probably about dead myself. Otherwise I win and they get back up; no need to have the thing equipped.

Yet it'd be sort of unusual if the main benefit of the weapon is not useful for that in the difficulty level that would benefit from it the most.
