Just a question about Armor colors
So, I haven’t been playing for too long, but I’ve noticed that the armor in the game has different color schemes depending on what company brand is on it - C&P, Cleo’s, Spacer’s Choice, etc. also noticed a “Gold” one that I assume is related in some way to Byzantium or the Board itself.
Anyways, I’m just wondering how many themes there are for these armors - let’s say the Elite Trooper Armor for something specific - and if there’s one theme that’s themed to be more neutral or independent from the companies?
(Personally I wish they would’ve allowed you to change the coloration like you do with modifying the armor - maybe they’ll throw that in with the next DLC or something, idk.)

As far as I can tell there's 6 different paintjobs available for the Aramid Ballistics combat armor serie. With C&P's version being the "street model" for non affiliated parties and UDL the military issue.

Faction
Spacer's Choice - Yellow, green, grey, with some red highlights.
Auntie Cleo's - Grey, green, red.
MSI - Blue, yellow, grey.
Rizzo - White, pink, blue.

Civilian
C&P - Gold, brown, red.

Military
UDL - Metallic with white outlines.

(There might be a 7th version used by the Firefly company, but I can't remember if it looked any different)

As I remeber "Gold" refers to some gear's tier.

The whole of Halcyon is in trouble and here you are worrying about the color of your armor.. Definitely some first world(Earth?) problems.

I mean, you got to look good, too.

Hey, man, I want my little dysfunctional spacer family to have a good looking “uniform” that also doesn’t make us look *too* much like we’re a bunch of corporate stooges.

Also, thanks for the help, y’all. Now I know what to look out for in the future.

firefly is the tossball company, theirs is a slightly lighter gold with red and orange. It has no emblems on it, so its a good 'neutral' armour. But its from the Gorgon DLC.
Ideally you go with the standard or riot armour from Auntie Cleo or even UDL and put an armour mod on it, so you get blank(non logo) shoulders on it.

I have to admit that generally I dressed in a suave black outfit, or in a gharish choice of whatever marauder color scheme of tattered armor I could find coupled with that dashing moon man helmet, so that I could present the real me to anyone curious enough to require a social skills check against my character, since I never drank copious amounts of conflicting beverages prior to engaging with an NPC to try to sway their opinion of me.

I figure being a marauding moon man was all I needed, so imagine my surprise to find that this is a common theme in the gorgon DLC! I thought I was on the road to fame and fortune as an influencer for the board, but no. I'm just another good looking model worth a dime a dozen that seems to even need help lying since I'm so lowly skilled.
