Difficult to aim with controller

I'd really like to turn the aim sensitivity down further, but I've already got it all at 0 and it's STILL twitchy.

Alternatively I know there's programs you can use to bind the analog stick to mouse control instead- but I forgot what to look up for those. Had to use that with New Vegas.

You might check and see if there's anything on Nexus Mods, that's where I found a fix to make mouse+keyboard work better for New Vegas.

Are you just playing with controller because it's your preference? Gotta say, M+K is the way to go for FPS. I used to prefer controllers as well, but the ability to just straight up click on a bad guy instead of scrolling along 2 axis with the sticks is much quicker.

Just my opinion. If you're not usually comfortable with M+K a single player game like this is the perfect way to get into it.

I play a lot of similar games! I don't usually have THIS much trouble in stuff like this. Warframe and Sea of Thieves aiming is like a bit less easy to aim, but this is way worse then those.

I tend to prefer the easy of movement and turning with a controller. Just hope I can make aiming a LITTLE less fiddly.

Could it be that your character has a low weapons skill, in terms of game mechanics? That does make a difference, especially if you’re below 20 or so, iirc. You’ll get more sway and shots will scatter more.
