We are excited to tell you we won't be buying your game now because you gave us a middle finger about a year ago and we remember.
Mark your calendards and know we won't be buying this until its dirt cheap years from now.
We do feel compelled to warn you to avoid being customer unfriendly in the future as we won't be buying any future games you publish/make until you start treating us with some customer focus in mind.
Don't forget, we gamers pay your bills.
I've no interest in buying the game at this point, that and I don't want to support the message that it's somehow okay for you guys to screw consumer choice over.
Your game will probably sell decently here, but I doubt you're sorry or that you'll learn any sort of lesson from this.
I'll buy it as soon as possible. A big thanks from an old fan for making this game, Obsidian.
Yeah, nice try with that considering it's been on the Windows Store and I doubt MS will bump their price to match Epic. Most games that were on Epic like this get a discount on launch.
This is wanted on Steam and no, this isn't an endorsement of full price- just the mentality behind this statement. Epic wants to paint themselves as the saviours and trick publishers into thinking they are better off there. Complaining about a game we know will probably launch here at a significant discount when they could have launched here Day One without one is a bit silly.
They've already suffered for the choice. No company has been praised for Epic exclusivity, they've all shouldered the blame while Epic bribes gamers they consider stupid (they also think you shouldn't have a say) to drink the kool-aid.
Epic is trying to build themselves up to be like Sony. The best thing you can do to fight this is by supporting devs and companies so they realize there's an alternative. Otherwise, you'll start seeing pure exclusives, not just timed. You prove Epic's argument for them by boycotting devs and companies who come to Steam and other platforms after the period ends.
