Overrated Garbage

Don't be fooled, Obsidian isn't the same company that made Fallout New Vegas.

It's a shallow, short, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

There's a speed runner that beat the game in 12 minutes.

Characters are awful.

This game is UNFINISHED and a disgusting cash grab.

They also put this on the EPIC games store as an exclusive, don't forget that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

But of course its just my opinion, what do I know?

Go ahead and keep supporting ♥♥♥♥ companies so they can keep fleecing you. You're an adult, make your own decision.

Sounds like you're mad about the game being a giant ripoff, which it kinda is for a bunch of different objective reasons unlike other extremely huge titles like the hugely successful Skyrim. I know I'm not happy about buying this for $49 and in the process polluting my system with a Windows Store title, thanks Obsidian, only to find "all that we see here" in the game.

I personally wouldn't go so far as to say your post is a ♥♥♥♥ rant, whatever that may be, but you do seem more furious than most. I will use my words to alleviate your mind though (you know, instead of being a scat cannon or something else funny sounding).

The Devs were trying to avoid a mess, and they over-avoided. Many things that should have been pushed through into release were cut way too soon as "too much", and many things that should have been nixed as not on topic are included. The game was playable from so early on that it's development took on a kind of Mod Community character , which is in absolutely nobody's best interest where it comes to AAA game development. This is nobody's fault. It was just a series of small mistakes that all piled up in to a great idea becoming a mediocre idea, and then an ambitious game becoming a muddy puddle. :Live and learn Oh, and then sending the last sad broadside by allowing the cold barf that is Epic to get it's filthy clauses on it.

You're wrong to think that Obsidian is some kind of greedy fart, or bad actor, or nasty woman, or whatever. Just a little studio trying to get along, and they will keep on keeping on, and their next title will be something I'm interested in checking out, and hopefully it doesn't go to hell lol

Ah yes Skyrim, the EGS exclusive game with no mods which everyone cherishes dearly for its very stable performance and good characters

It may be a good game but it is a little hard to consider it after taking ten cents money that has communist party members in it's board.

Maybe I'll consider it in a couple years when it's 60-75% off or in choice.

Most people knew this well before the game was released. Most also did not only want to skip because of the whole exclusive ordeal, but because they saw the gameplay footage (it was obviously a dumbed down console action RPG) with lackluster story, choices and in general shallow characters.

That seems to be the biggest problem, the lack of variety in characters, not just how they look, but also their background and interaction with them. But you have to remember, that Obsidian is a completely different team now, even compared to PoE time. It is not actually Obsidian anymore, this can change ofc, lets see.

Honestly my only real complaint is with the poor performance on pc still.

Review sites are paid.... the fact people don't understand this yet is funny. I mean just think back upon the gamespot scandal.
People that did not buy it, obviously don't rate it, also yes it did get around 7.4 score (that is around the score that got the gamespot guy fired, because it was too low btw) but if you notice, it is often 10 or 0.. because people on purpose ofc, wants to drive the score up or down. Good games normaly is around 8-9.3 and far more consistent.

You also have alot of FPS fans praising the game, while RPG fans disgrace it. That alone should tell you something (again we all have subjective opinions) most people did not buy this game, they played it for 1 euro on xbox gamepass.. I reckon most people would give it a good score for that (but even with that price half of the people did not)

The game stands at an 80-85 on metacritic. People seem to like it. Metacritic isn't paid for because it is an aggregate of user and critic reviews.

No it does not.
It is 7.4 on user score.

But yes for critics it is 82. But who cares about critics? as I said before, just above. They are paid in the vast majority of times and the raters often have no clue about gaming.

Again as I said above.. ratings does not mean much, I did not rate the game, nor did people that just bought it for 1 euro "streaming" on xbox pass
