Transfer save files from windows store edition to steam?

Anyone knows if it is possible to transfer the save files/progress from the Outer world Windoes Microsoft store PC-game pass to epic or steam when it launches ?

I like the game and play it right now for 1€/month Xbox gamepass for PC on my computer.

I would love to know if i can transfer from Epic to Steam. I've played some of it (but enough) on Epic and suddenly stopped because i "quickly" regretted buying it on Epic. I got it on Steam today and I'm going to try to copy-paste the save.

Edit: After I installed both versions achievements started to go crazy and Steam automatically picked up my old saves :D

In my test.
MS Store version save folder to steam save folder(it's different folder.).
Save file is detected, but can't load.
I tried MS version in latest version save data and try again.
But detected, and can't load.

yeah i did it and also got all the achievements retroactively, was pretty cool.

all you gotta do is go to C:\Users\<name>\Saved Games and transfer the files from "The Outer Worlds Windows 10" folder to "The Outer Worlds" folder. gotta launch the game at least once though for the folder to be created.

Yes, the same for me. I have very old save files from the win 10 version, but getting the same bug. Can see the list of save files in game, but can't load
