You created a Steam page and said it was coming to Steam. We even asked and you reasured us you weren't going to do this. I play on the Nintendo Switch and Steam. That is it. You essentially prevented me from playing this game.

"Oh but the Marketing team." ♥♥♥♥ the Marketing team. "They made the call not us." You should've ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fired the Marketing team for wanting to make that deal.

People are boycotting Epic Games. And any game that signs an exclusivity deal with them. Choosing to be boycotted is the definition of ♥♥♥♥ marketing.

Epic doesn't honor world wide user Privacy Laws. Tencent has a 20% stake in their company which is already concerning. Not to mention. Oh yeah the Epic Launcher was found out to be spyware.

"But Epic gives us a bigger profit share per sale.." Well ♥♥♥♥ you. Your not earning money from less sales. Not to mention people are not excited to download spyware to play a game. If you get 20% of the sales you would've gotten on Steam. Guess what dumb asses. That's less money!

"But I'm a devolper the Marketing team. Is different people.." You should've marched to the head boss and explain to them the backlash you would get, how Epic and it's majority share holder are shady as ♥♥♥♥. And how pissing off the people your hoping to sell to is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid.

If your the dev of any game and the marketing team suggests or even toys with the idea of an Epic Games store exclusivity deal. You demand that person be fired.

And don't act ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cowardly. The boss isn't going to fire the Dev team for an unfinished game that has Millions invested into it. To protect some dime a dozen marketing personel. Who are very replaceable.

I think we are going to see Steam implement a policy where developers can not have a store page for their game on the Steam store if they ever have any intention of not following through with a release.

Using the platform to advertise, post updates and build industry hype for your game only to accept anti-consumer offers and bring exclusivity from consoles to PC gaming is reprehensible.
I don't get outraged and I never go as far as to 'boycott' pretty much anything.

However, as a normal consumer who is pro-choice, this is really starting to piss me off. I have removed all of these games from my Steam wishlist and I will cease to remember their existence, even once their exclusivity period ends.

Competition is good. Buying the exclusive rights to sell a game that was previously not exclusive, is not. I won't support these practices or their store.

Valve is being made to look the fool and I am fairly certain they will implement something soon.
