can i kill any character even if this means game over?

could i just kill any chracter in this game?
or this will be like skyrim where some NPC are immortals?
would be fun to do this even if i get a game over because you kill a important character to the story with a menssage ''the hero did a dumb choice and killed the only one who knows the passworld to stop the nuclear bomb.''

Every character will be killable, but I doubt there will be a game over ending for killing a specific character. That would have the same effect as the character being unkillable.

I pretty sure that Obsidian will do it like Fallout New Vegas and create a failsafe type of character like Yes-Man.. You can kill all character yet complete the main quest.

They have said you can kill everyone and still beat the game... though I'm sure there are characters that you shouldn't kill if you want the whole story

well that is part of the experience, you let someone live and get a new story .
