Oh, No german audio language.. no buy
Sorry, this is not a good way.Only english audio is a false sign.

For a RPG with so many text the subtitles are the worst thing, what i knew.

Here I have to praise the developer of Two Point Hospital. It's a small Studio, yes.. but they have localized her game with german textes (througt the DLC) and i like it and will honored by buying this game.

And this is my sign to not buy a game, when it have english only audio inside, easy, sorry.

as someone whose main language is English, I don't feel your pain at all, but damn thinking a little more really sucks for you euro buddies out there.

I second your opinion if I was European

Make Lingua Franca great again.

I'm European and I say he's an entitled d*ck. Yeah let's waste development resources on localization because this guy doesn't want to learn English like the rest of us.

German here: learn English!

As a Dane; I second this.

I'd absolutely hate, if everything got dubbed into my own language. Various Disney/Pixar movies get a dubbed version here in Denmark as well, but those are generally aimed at kids.

I got way better at English because of video games, movies and TV-shows. It's a massive resource.
I'd hate to only be able to communicate with people that know my own language - it's a very limiting factor (granted; German is more widely spoken and understood, than Danish - obviously).

I can easily understand the need for German dubbing, if you're insanely bad at English - but instead of seeking out games/content with German dubbing; try to better your English instead. It'll open up so many options for you in the long run.

Learn english. Most games don't even have my language but that doesn't mean I won't play them.
Boring.. every time the same.. Learn english, learn english. Is this the only thing you can say?

ENGLISH is a boring monotonous language. Yes, english is a world language but english is not the navel of the world.

Whether you think it's boring or monotonous is irrelevant. As you said, it's a world language, which means it's the one that is prioritized. Other languages are a bonus if there's enough time/resources for it.

Funny how you say it's a boring monotonous language considering it's a Germanic one. English and German are linguistically cousins and share a lot of words. I mean, over a third of the English lexicon consists of German words and we even use the same alphabet aside from some specific characters (ä, ö, ü, and ß).

That said, I'm not going to argue against more localization like some of the other posters here. Maybe if the game sells well enough, Obsidian will be able to hire some additional VAs to provide translated audio in a future update. That's not exactly an unheard of thing to happen.
Wow... again a useless posting. "No German - No Buy"... Fine. Don't buy it, no one cares. Since it ain't have a multiplayer-part, no one will miss anyone.

It also worked at TPH. Finally, a German voice output was integrated. And that is very exemplary

I know that english is a germanic part (Anglo-Saxon) but the OLD English was better (with better grammer near german grammar). And it's better to hera textes in the native language what i speak than in a other language..

I hardly doubt the devs are going to dub it. It is a waste of money and they should rather invest it into the game itself. Text will probably be available later on.
He's only talking about audio. There will already be German language for text.
