Anybody else unable to talk to Captain Irion?

Doing the quest Solution Vital. I found Irion on Scylla, killed the outlaws, but I can't speak to him. Is it a known bug, is there some kind of workaround?

Must be a bug, I spoke to him immediately afterwards. Maybe try to talk to him while Ellie is in the party since I know she has dialog with him.

...And now I can't hand the quest back in to Wanda, with or without Ellie...

Seems like Developer oversight... Meaning you can literally get stuck on some quest if you decide to murder everything and everyone while taking quests.

Negative reputation is suppose to go down by several days while you are away from a location but it actually doesn't.

Thing is I'm not murdering everything and everyone. It doesn't have to do with my reputation, I just can't hand the quest in. The marker's above her head, she'll talk to me, I just don't have quest hand-in dialogue.

Mine bugged out a copple of times. but could talk to him if the medical droid survives the fire fight.

I had that bug before. I had to go back a couple of save states in order to fix it. It "appeared" in my case it was tied to how I took out the bandits, ie I sniped them from a distance before actually approaching the area. I am guessing this bugged out the triggers associated with the quest perhaps. This is only a guess on my part. Couldn't talk to the captain afterwards.

I can't believe people have the nerve to use Steam forums because the garbage store that they bought the game from, which actively prevents it from being sold specifically on Steam, is too crap to have its own forums.
