Statistiche:
Shut up ur bit**ing about Epic store exclusivity!!
Its not like they make u buy another expensive game console just to play their game.
Just a damn app.
How long its take u to install an app? How much money its take?
Sure, Epic store function have some limited, not abundant like Steam. I have PS4 controller that only support on Steam (wirelessly and customizable), that I loved.
But, going to Epic store with it simplistic store page design and barebone function make me realize something:
"It's all about the game." Nothing else matter. I just wanted to boot a game up and get lost in it.
I don't even miss the achievement, that I love so much before. And certainly doesn't miss the
Steam items, community market, stock market or whatever....
Why hate Epic store or Dev whom do business with them?
It's Steam store, have almost all PC gamer used, just sit on their a*s doing almost nothing and demand 30% for every copy of game sell. Money, that should go to the people whom worked hard on their game for 3-5 years of their life making.
Its Steam that f**k them over.
Steam that u all defend.
U should glad that this game ever on Steam at all.

Update: For anyone who accuse Epic store of stealing ur data for Chinese or anything, do some f**king research. From some trustworthy source, not from a place any child can write anything and someone stupid enough will believe it.

Why are you people whining about this. It's not an Epic exclusive. You can buy it through xbox game store. Better yet, you can pay just 1 dollar and play the game for an entire month. That's what I'm doing. I'll play it for a month and eventually get the game with all the DLC when it finally comes to steam.

Seriously, 1 dollar.

Trust me it's better to go this route. Obsidian games are always buggy. Just play it for a month for a buck. You'll find out if it's a game you really want to sink you time into or not. Next year you'll be able to pick up cheap on steam with all the bugs worked out plus any DLC that has been added. It's a win-win.

I wish somebody would pin that quote as a new locked thread.
Microsoft owns Obsidian. They are likely getting the same cut no matter what, still qualifying it as an Epic exclusive.
OP shoves aside how he/she can't use their PS4 controller on epic then proceeds to say it's all about the game and they just want to jump in.

Must suck that you can't if epic doesn't even tell you if there's controller support in game.

One of my biggest reasons for not using EGS is I freaking love the steam controller for it's ease of use in most PC games. Community uploaded configurations are a God send. Gone are the days of fiddling with direct X and a third party keybinding software.

But yeah I ended up getting this in Gamepass for $1 so screw Epic and yeah, still all about the game and it's a lot of fun.
Was OP really under the impression that this post was going to change anyone's mind? Where do you think you are? At least realize where you're not. Come back any time.
Yet another title I got to wait a year for.
Just wont do business with Epic store full stop.
Am tempted to P!rate Bay but I wont. I havent used P!rate Bay for a game since I got Steam is how good Steam is and for the PC game market and publishers. Before that it was 95% p!rate bay for me.
Now its 0%. That is thanks to Steam being such a great platform I am willing to spend money rather than get for free.
I like the fact all my games are there in library I just need click install and its there in a few minutes. There is the community. Every game gets automatic update.
I hate having to use other programs like Origin for example.
GOG is only other platform I like because the Devs care about games and gaming so much. It really comes thru, those companies that are just to grab money(like EA, Epic) and those that truly care about gaming and gamers(Steam, CDPR).
I hope Steam does something to fight back against Epic.
Gamers should be treated #1 not money for share holders.

Messaggio originale di Gat:
A lot of us were forced to use Steam at one point. For me it was Fallout: NV in the early 2010's. I bought the box in a store but to play it I had to install Steam and make an account. I didn't care but a lot of other people threw a fit about having to use a 3rd party launcher. Then they got won over with good game prices and that's all history. Epic has been winning people over by giving away good free games every week. I've got 20+ games in that library but this is the first one I payed for. What I'm getting at is in a year when people can finally buy the game from their chosen corporation all these tears will have dried up and be forgotten about. Most people will probably use Gog Galaxy or something similar so they only have one library and people will buy from whoever they want because it doesn't matter much at all which 3rd party takes a cut.

This.

When I didn't want to use Steam, I wasn't given a choice, and there was literally no other way of playing PC games at one point in time. Even physical copies shipped with a damned Steam install rather than the actual game!

Where was the outrage mob campaigning against exclusivity then? Why was it acceptable for Valve to essentially run a monopoly on PC gaming?
Messaggio originale di Edward Carnby:
Why is there a forum for this game on Steam, but there is no forum for Borderlands 3?

Because Steam has changed their rules regarding games with timed exclusivity on other launchers. The store page for this game existed before that rule was changed.

They didn't change any rules at all. The reason is because this game already had a store page prior going exclusive to Epic, where as BL3 never had a store page to begin with. But if 2K really wanted to have a store page right now for BL3, they could, they just didn't though.
