Seriously, 1 dollar.
Trust me it's better to go this route. Obsidian games are always buggy. Just play it for a month for a buck. You'll find out if it's a game you really want to sink you time into or not. Next year you'll be able to pick up cheap on steam with all the bugs worked out plus any DLC that has been added. It's a win-win.
Must suck that you can't if epic doesn't even tell you if there's controller support in game.
One of my biggest reasons for not using EGS is I freaking love the steam controller for it's ease of use in most PC games. Community uploaded configurations are a God send. Gone are the days of fiddling with direct X and a third party keybinding software.
But yeah I ended up getting this in Gamepass for $1 so screw Epic and yeah, still all about the game and it's a lot of fun.
Just wont do business with Epic store full stop.
Am tempted to P!rate Bay but I wont. I havent used P!rate Bay for a game since I got Steam is how good Steam is and for the PC game market and publishers. Before that it was 95% p!rate bay for me.
Now its 0%. That is thanks to Steam being such a great platform I am willing to spend money rather than get for free.
I like the fact all my games are there in library I just need click install and its there in a few minutes. There is the community. Every game gets automatic update.
I hate having to use other programs like Origin for example.
GOG is only other platform I like because the Devs care about games and gaming so much. It really comes thru, those companies that are just to grab money(like EA, Epic) and those that truly care about gaming and gamers(Steam, CDPR).
I hope Steam does something to fight back against Epic.
Gamers should be treated #1 not money for share holders.
This.
When I didn't want to use Steam, I wasn't given a choice, and there was literally no other way of playing PC games at one point in time. Even physical copies shipped with a damned Steam install rather than the actual game!
Where was the outrage mob campaigning against exclusivity then? Why was it acceptable for Valve to essentially run a monopoly on PC gaming?
Because Steam has changed their rules regarding games with timed exclusivity on other launchers. The store page for this game existed before that rule was changed.
