Can't believe I spent $60 on this trash
♥♥♥♥, I thought for sure I would like this, but it's unbelievably bland, where do I even begin? I started the game out in Supernova but the companions are so dumb I had to switch to hard mode. Unfortunately, hard mode is super easy. There's loot all over the place and the enemy AI isn't the smartest. By the end of the game I had 8000 light ammo, 4000 heavy and energy ammo. The amount of weapons are sparse and you will get tons of duplicates. There are 4 elements but the vast majority are either electric or plasma. You will get more powerful versions of the same weapon as well instead of proper new ones.

Quests are trash, the vast majority of them are boring fetch quests. I never really felt satisfied with the quests I could actually make decisions on and the impact was never felt after the quest had finished. In fact, I came back to Edgewater just to kill everyone because the town was no longer relevant.

There are hardly any enemy types or areas to "explore". Locations are small and unimaginative. I never felt like walking off the beaten path.

Perks are lame passives. They hardly change the game in any meaningful way and there are obvious ones to take and avoid. Especially for the companions, chose the same 5 for everyone.

Lockpicking, pickpocketing, and hacking = hold e for x amount of seconds. Beyond lame.

Every female is ugly and has short hair, including my character. I'm okay with space lesbians but that doesn't mean everyone has to look like one.

How could this game possibly be better? At least in those games you had plenty of places to explore, a decent loot pool, and in the case of Fallout 4, better combat. Sure, the writing is worse, but the quest design is just as bad. Also, Fallout 3 is horribly written, it has just as terrible a story as Fallout 4. If anything, this game is better than Fallout 3.

I disagree, this game is good and plays along the same level as Mass Effect does but it doesn't beat Fallout, / Skyrim / Borderlands at all not even close.

it was at least worth the 1$ i payed for game pass, but not worth the 60$

If you bought the game on Epic, I'm glad you feel you wasted your money - that's the price you pay for shopping with those asshats. You could have rented it for a month with the Xbox Gamepass for $1. Your own bad decisions lead you here.
The game is worth around 20-30 range, if they charged 29.99 i dont think anyone would have been as upset

The devs said "it's an AA game" but then turn around "well we're gonna sell it at AAA price anyway" like that wouldn't cause irritation among the community and buyer's remorse or anything...

“This is a good day for gamers,” said Valve’s Gabe Newell. “We’re excited to partner with EA to not only bring their great games and subscription service to Steam, but also to open up our communities to each other in an unprecedented way that will benefit players and developers around the world.”

I don't trust EA as a publisher anymore, so I'll wait for reviews of 'Fallen Order' before I buy it, or - better yet - rent it for a month with EA Origin Premier, assuming that's an option.

The news of them working with Steam again pleases me, however, and I hope it marks a positive move forward for the company.

Its great that EA games are coming back to steam, however you still have to install origin to play them, just like uplay is needed for far cry, rockstar launcher for GTA V, etc.

The Origin launcher is a little annoying, in that it's another launcher you have to install, but Origin Basic subscription gives you access to a ton of fantastic games for $5/month. I had it for two years and played many games I never would have tried, otherwise. Some of those games opened my eyes to new developers and genres I would have missed if left to my own devices. In that regard, it's worth the space on your computer.

It is worth every penny of the MS store beta price.

Doubtless. Yet I'd also say it's worth a $30-$40 price tag, as I'm enjoying the game a great deal but I'm glad I didn't pay $60 for it.

Lol, we have pretty much the same opinion of the game. Just found this after posting my own thought.

Hopefully we get something better from upcoming games.
