Which is not a command you are allowed for admin rights without CRACKING the encryption of the security. what was your point?
same lol
If you know anything about Windows Permissions this is a pretty simple endeavor. Just take ownership of the top folder and grant yourself the needed permissions. Being in the local Administrators group also helps with this.
Furthest I got was getting an error message that said not enough size on disk when trying to add the mod.
I don't recommend anyone try this without first creating a restore point.
Then you haven't fully taken ownership and/or aren't an admin and/or you are using Win 10 Home with it's crippled version of security. If you have win 10 pro you can make yourself and Administrator, take ownership and then change whatever you need to change, in any folder.
On my PC I took ownership and granted the Administrator's group Full Control of "C". Just got rid of all the stupid security tricks that MS added to Windows 10 to try and lock their users out.
Note that I have pretty heavily modded my version of Win 10 Pro, but this was the first thing I did to seize control of my machine. Made EVERYTHING easier after that.
can you add files into teh windowsapps folder though?
Basic .ini tweaking is apparently possible.
