Am I missing something?

I am trying to get Reed to step down in Comes Now The Power and I’m to the point of needing to go get rid of him but when I go to the Saltuna Cannery the door in ground of the elevator to his office is sealed and I can’t come up with a way to open it. Is there something I’m missing or is something broken?

Sounds like a bug. This door if I recall is never closed. You might need to download the dev console unlocker mod on the Nexus. Then use the free camera (ToggleDebugCamera) and go up to Reed and then use the 'Teleport' console command.

Have you activated the small lever by the side of the elevator?

I have experience this, the elevator door sometimes close for unknown reason. Try activating the small lever by the side of the elevator to open the elevator door.

Most elevators have a lever near it in case its on the wrong floor. It might simply be you fast traveled out of Reed's office last time you were there and the elevator is still upstairs.

Or its a bug. But you definitely are not missing anything questwise to proceed.

That's not how you make him step down. This is basically what I did : I gave all Electricity power to Edge Water, then I talked to Adeline (or whatever her name is), she called me snake and lost all trust in me, I told her I will make it right by making Reed step down. Then I went to Reed's main office and told him that Adeline is better leader. She can cure plague and she can grow food, so people are not forced to eat fish all the time. In order to make him step down you will need persuasion and lie skill to be around 40 I believe (Not quite sure about the number, but i'm 100% sure you will need these two skills).

I completely missed that switch thanks. Also I can’t remember about persuade but I didn’t need lie at all to convince him.
