They all were quite distinct to me. What kind of weapon would have been different?
I would have liked to be able to throw grenades, not just launch them.
Oh jesus... Is he the guy who beat someone up over a sports game? Oh my god no. Why are the crew so boring. WHY. THEY ARENT LIKEABLE! IN FALLOUT 4 YOU GET A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ROBOT THAT CAN BE TRANSFORMED INTO A HUMAN LOVE INTEREST WHO TRIES TO UNDERSTAND HER NEW HUMAN BODY! OR A SUPER MUTANT GOOD GUY! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
The aoe weapons tend to all suck. I just use a machine gun and it's the fastest way to kill anyone. Shotguns are too close range and weak for me to use because of my frail character. Once I got 5,000 light rounds I started to use the mini gun which seems to shred everything. I have over 500 armor/weapon parts so repairs are a non-issue... All unique weapons seem to be the same as any other weapon just... with gold. Science weapons seem like they would be awesome but they are just gimmicks with low power.
A robot who cleans your ship...and crime scenes for you is way better. Sorry.
The fact those are the only guns, you managed to basically list every single gun in this game in like 1 line. Terrible. I don't think it's a lot to ask to have some variation in the guns, endgame weapons are just the exact same weapons with 2.0, Mk II or Ultra strapped on the end of their titles. Lazy and boring, Fallout had this nailed down to be honest, I don't see how Obsidian can regress to pre-FO:NV levels of diversity, 9 years after the fact.
No. I mean all the assault rifles look the same. The game has a very simplistic number of weapons. Machine gun, pistol, worse pistol, worse machine gun, heavy/light ammo gatling guns, terrible aoe weapons.
I leveled up engineering and have like 500 weapon/armor mods. So even that part of it is lame. Tinkering makes new loot pointless since I'm easily keeping my old gear leveled up with me.
Actually I left out 2 types of pistol, all the shot guns, an assault rifle and all the science guns, including the nray gun.
That's been my confusion with this complaint, grenades, a missile launcher Fallout had those but it didn't have squad machine guns or the grenade launcher.
They have burst weapons, snipers, charging weapons, hose guns a variety of pistols and shotguns, along with some genuinely whacky stuff.
I keep seeing "shallow" as a complaint but when I ask for details or examples of what is missing the complaints get shallow. They are never elaborated on to make a convincing point.
Did you want the higher tier weapons to glow and spark or something?
Oh what a life being a Reich Winger outraged that people are different
I wanted high level weapons to be different. In fallout 4 the raider guns are easy to upgrade and obtain but they lose value in the middle game. In Outer worlds the first machine gun you get is the only machine gun you will ever get. It will just have a different name.
