Says it all.
This game is nothing like the PUBG seen at the 2022 PUBG Global Championship and I truly have no idea why it's developers thought this was a positive move for it's business model and/or it's players.
This is the only sane thing to do.
you always have an option. it's the same as making callouts like you usually do
play with such mechanics yourself, I don't want to. goodbye PUBG, there are many other games!
I'm seeing a lot of people wanting to hot drop, and hide in buildings trying to get their team mates to be bullet sponges while they stare at a bluechip.
As far as squads go, I'll have to just say I think it's ruining the game.
I'm not even talking about it being used against me either.
I'm just talking about the effects it's having on playstyle in squads.
End game in solos gets pretty disgusting too.

to me, the worst part is that the complainers got what they wanted to ease their frustrations -- but they complain even more without even trying the items in question. it's always "omg everyone is camping" or "omg he has to be hacking" or "omg i died and it's not fair"
the same thing happened years ago when they begged for a ranked mode that was more action-oriented.
what happened was that they found out that they were even worse at action-oriented play, quit ranked which they asked for, and then they killed ranked in multiple regions because they further split the queues like this
i'm sorry to say this, but i don't think there is any sort of pleasing these people unless you force their enemies to kneel in front of them for an easy kill. this is just the sentiments i get from observing years of PUBG and anti-PUBG behavior
("anti-PUBG" mostly meaning they do not understand the nature of BR and they think they can "balance" such a wildly unscripted format such as BR)
