banned for no reason

so i have not played this game for the last year and randomly i go into my steam profile and apparently i have been banned,
by the way i have not played this game at least for a year and when i have i know for sure that i have not use chat and when i have used in game voice chat it has only been fro comms
and i report to pubg support and they say that i have been banned by a dev so im left with a banned on my profile so Ty PUBG for the banned

an update i got unbanned and it's was a mistake this is what they said

Seems strange.

Your character in PUBG played 19 days ago once, and four matches over a month ago.


So if you aren't playing, then someone else is. Do you have Steam Guard enabled on your account? Have you shared your account to anybody else?


I find it strange that the ban kicked in when the last game your account played was 19 days ago. It's possible that whoever had your account installed cheats and then the game banned them before a recent match already loaded. This would explain why there's no recent matches in the last few days.


Eitherway, if what you are saying is true, you have some investigation to do as it would look like your Steam account is being used by someone else.

so my motherboard was broken my pc was not working this year and i recently fix it also i just downloaded pubg last night so it was not possible for me to play this game also i just check my steam guard im the only one logged in how do you check when was the last time i played ty btw

Brother, I don't even remember the last time I played this game and the only reason I want to play this game again was one of my friends asked me to play so I don't know how that is possible

It means the developer banned you. Those bans can be for cheating, btw.

I assume this is PUBG support that is telling you this?

Your PUBG account is permabanned. I assume the account name in your screen shots is still the same.

Temporary bans don't show like this. PUBG shares it's player data with 3rd party sites and it only shares the account bans when they are permanent.

Additionally, Steam has also been informed by PUBG about your ban. This is where you noticed it. Krafton has told Steam about your permanent ban and that is why your Steam account is flagged.

Your best option is to follow this process if your account was hijacked and banned.

No one gets banned for using a controller.
