MASSIVE lag spikes and I've tried EVERYTHING

Haven't played this game for a while. Came back and the lag is ginormous. I'm talking constant lag spikes of 5 seconds or more, especially for the first 5-10 minutes of each new game. Framerate is quite good when the spikes aren't happening. My computer is pretty good and runs most games fine, and it run PUBG fine back when it first came out, too. My internet is also ninja fast and I have an SSD and tons of RAM.

Things I've tried:
* complete repair of game files
* complete wipe and reinstall several times
* Updating all C++ libraries
* reducing all settings to minimum
* putting AA and PP back to high again because I read apparently that can help idk
* yes I'm running fullscreen (windowed/borderless is even worse)
* changing config files to less resolution
* disabling superfetch
* running EmptyStandbyList on loop every 5 min to clear cached RAM

Any other ideas besides getting a job at PUBG and fixing it for them?

here the same, never had lagging problems, but after the update its crash freeze and lags

Had the same issue and it drove me nuts. I fixed it by going into Windows power plan and setting it to "balanced", all lag spikes disappeared.

- use dx11 or dx11 enhanced only

massive spikes on initial moments of the match is due a outdated gpu

my pubg just uses the cpu and the gpu is at 0% usage
and then my cpu hits 100% usage and that makes my lags
i cant fix this its nuts is this coz its a phone game now?

sysdm.cpl performance virtual memory; min and max 8192 / 8193 , or try higher values on your fastest drive;
apply, restart pc and try again;

Disabling of fullscreen optimization or even reBAR can be solutions for newer hardware;
this is UE4, not 5, so the lazy corporation is making performance suffer for all systems; no optimizations , just more crap on top of crap assets/skins/♥♥♥♥ that does NOT matter as much as they make it out to be to fill their stores;
