No more duo 3rd person again?

Correct.
The mode was made available after the server merge and the server merge has recently been undone, so it's back to how it was before the merge.

They could have easily kept TPP Duos as bots would fill the empty spots. Most solo matches are 60%+ bots after the de-merge so it wouldn't be anything different.

A friend of mine's girlfriend just started playing PUBG because of the reintroduction of TPP Duos as she wanted to learn the game from her boyfriend to get better before playing squads. She tried playing squads with our group after TPP Duo mode was removed and she was disheartened because she was still pretty green and couldn't keep up. She hasn't come back to play since and my buddy is pretty bummed about it.

Krafton made a big misstep with this choice to remove TPP Duos from the game.

i play with a friend and we always played duos but im pretty much done sadly.

They need to reinstate this mode asap. So many people I've talked to enjoyed playing TPP Duos, especially new players.
