This is a joke? Really? Banned for 72 hours
It's not that I really care, but it's the fact that this is my brothers main account, despite him not playing many games on steam, I don't like having the ban thing on his profile.
It's just that it surprised me, I saw the warning on steam and though it was a hack attempt on his account or something, as I've never been banned on anything.
You need a quad core at least for this game anyway. That's why it was running like a turd.
I knew the game was not going to run... As i've said my brother insisted a lot. Either way, it was not multiplayer, we were trying to do the tutorial, but I guess your point still stands quite clear because at some point because of the lag it looked like our character was teleporting xD. Thanks a lot for the explanation Snufflegrunt.
I love to hear all these cheaters who complain to be banned and try to recover the account, pff... Fineally something good happen!
The only rule he's technically breaking is using an account that isn't his, apparently. Tbh that's a bit sus but not sus enough. The rest of the info makes me 95% certain that it's a ban made in error.
I do not deny by any fact that this game is filled with hackers. But I don't have anything to hide and this is 100% a false ban. Snufflegrunt explained what probably happened. As for the "Finally something good happen!" I don't think the game is going in the right direction, each week we get "updates" with weekly bans that exceed 60K bans just for cheating. After the game went free, everything with it started going wrong.
My brother isn't a pc guy, believe it or not he doesn't even know how to download a game here on Steam, I do everything for him so he doesn't do any mistakes. If helping somebody download a game is sus, the I don't know what to say, but I don't have anything else to hide here. Either way thanks for the explanation of PUBG's anticheat.
Sorry for the misunderstanding, and you are most definitely right about that.
Any hacker would use these kind of excuses. Either way, I see how I can apply for a ticket so it can be checked out. Thanks again.
Pretty much that. While there still were hackers back in that time, I remember they were so scarce, after all, they were risking their account and nearly 30 euros/dollars each time.
On my main pc which I can run it fine, I play a couple of games every now and then, but obviously, I can never get a chicken my self, not because of the hackers, but we are basically fighting either hackers, or extremely skilled players with years of playtime and because I'm hopping from game to game all the time, I will never be able to be good at a single game.
The "updates" are also just sad, "WEEKLY BANS" 60K Sometimes I see 80-90K bans for hacking. Can we stop and understand that number for a second? Like for real.
