Why is this game so bad for finding squads or teammates?

Every game im either alone in a dou or my squad is afk in 4 mans/like 2 of us are there. Whats the point? I might aswell play solo if im going to be 1/4 in squads. Its not like there arent that many players now. Does anybody else have this issue in EU?

The point is to have a squad to play with, obviously. Of course you can queue into it by yourself, but that is a deliberate risk. Finding a single active teammate is pretty easy - finding three of them is a different story. Some people even keep playing the game when their connection isn't all that fluffy and keep being disconnected and whatnot.

PUBG isn't really good for random squad/duo anymore due to lack of map selection.
Now, people gonna leave because they don't like the current map.

Unfortunately, we can't get the selection back. It's gone.

Forcing all players to play one specific map, would solve the problem but kill the game.

Yea man I just died to a guy with a vss camping, that thing shreds. With a Dou my teammate could like kill the dude and clutch up, it makes the game more fun and more enjoyable, if you get downed in a dumb way hopefully your teammate can clutch up, if not then rip. Playing solo just doesn't cut it for me personally, it's fun only on like sanhok for me. And I can't choose maps so all the other maps are jusf really annoying especially mirmar.

I like playing squads and duel, but prefer solo because when I win, it's because of what I did in the game not my team mates.
