thanks bro
np
the kills get shown in the classic- counterstrike like way in the ingame replay editor, BUT when exporting/rendering/creating the video itself, it only shows the gameplay, without HUD or killfeed
Why you don't record from the replay itself?
Like using OBS or some third party tool?
Never heard we can export something there but I also never used it so much.
you can and i'm confused af, why the heck they show the killfeed in the replay editor, but can't for whatever reason when you create the videofile
Well maybe because if people wanna make some video, they don't like stuff like the HUD because of the cinema effect?
@Doktor Headshot
Maybe you can help him further because I know you used the replay a lot?
Thanks!
I would like to help him but, as you already suggested, best advice would be recording the whole stuff with external capturing program (I use Fraps). He even has option to close the timeline whilst keeping the kill feed, the HUD and such stuff visibile just like as he was playing (which it seems the result he wants to achieve). Sadly, despite I like making videos with replay feature, I know nothing about exporting stuff (never tried it because it takes ages).
Thanks for the help and yes, this is what I thought too.
