Audio Issues

Two of us in our squad have an intermittent audio problem. In the lobby, team chat works fine. We all have it set to open mic, team only.
Sometimes when we go into a game, two of us will hear game sounds, but not each other. Sometimes the we can hear the other player talk, but they can't hear us.
Sometimes we can't hear each other at all.
Sometimes we'll be in a game and we can hear each other and then when we go back out to the lobby, we loose sound and can't hear each other, but sometimes if we restart the lobby, all sound come back.
Now here is the kicker, we can ALWAYS here in-game sounds. Cars, gunfire, explosions, everything. But we can't hear each other. The stupid thing is it doesn't happen all the time. I have to believe this is a PUBG thing.
Any suggestions or anyone else come across this?
