Nickname Prohibited

I want to change my name from KnightGh0st to KnightGhOst... Instead of a zero, put a capital O and it tells me that the name is prohibited... Why does it tell me that? Why is it in use? Or does it have some character that is restricted?

Not sure why it allowed the original name if it doesn't allow the second one, both have the naughty bit in them.

Well let me tell you that I never had a problem with the original name which is KnightGh0st but there are other names like shoot in the ass written in another format and they allow it in the game... There are names or nicknames that are very vulgar/rude and they continue playing the game where they would have to ban them or force them to change their name but the fact that I want to change my name to KnightGhOst because it has a capital letter, putting it as a prohibited nickname seems too much to me... Thanks anyway!!!

Either a detection of username is present, or alternatively the name may already be taken.

You can enquire PUBG Support to get an idea as they would help you clarify if the name is forbidden or taken.

Hapened the same to me . Its an automatic detection . I was trying to put Night... and i cant because the game detects the letters "♥♥♥" , and told me not possible. Hope this helps.
