Xbox controller no longer supported after an 11/07/2024 update.

Since yesterday (07/11/2024), after an update, xbox controller is not fully supported with the game.
I enabled controller support from steam as this game is not controller supported by default.
Those who are still facing issue, can enable controller support manually and map buttons and joysticks as you like it. there is also an options to download existed controller layout.
i suggest to try it if you are used to play this game on controller.

There are also options to download the existing controller layout. yes maybe but most of the configurations already recorded for the use of the controller will not solve the various problems during the game including moving by parachute or the impossibility of driving a vehicle. the new update has clearly been a mess and the many bugs are linked to the lack of controller support. it didn't exist before. no solution at the moment to my knowledge

I doubt that had anything to do with it. controller mods are not as good

Glad this wasn't just me I was starting to loose my mind. I have tried every single control and not a single template is the same as the PS4/Xbox type B preset I was playing on. Not willing to change either, if they don't fix it they're loosing a player XD

I guess you have to switch to Apex Legends, they welcome this behavior very much.
