I guess I was "grandfathered" into the premium account for having paid for the game years ago. I just reached the mastery level to start playing ranked and was kinda stoked. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find a single game all day. Come to find out, they are making people pay for Premium to play it?!.......guess I wont be playing this game mode since nobody is going to dish out money for that haha

yup 13 bucks for ranked mode, 10 bucks for a name change, when i saw had to pay for ranked mode , i was like eh its f2p, ill try it out for a bit, but their asking prices on things is just a rip, so who knows how long ill stick around, also they go heres 500 credits BUT you gotta spend them in 30 days or you loose them, thats a ♥♥♥♥ business practice i have no respect for, giving a free item then doing that is just uncool. whats also is a joke is ONLY 3 casual matches a day, ive lost count how many times ive lost a run due to having to back out of the match making cause of screaming political propaganda in my ears, peoples screaming fggt, heck even yesterday, got killed by 2 cheaters, and both times i go and select cheating, click a couple boxes, then the game tells me i cannot report on myself, so hackers/cheaters can bypass the reporting system, which is a BIG problem.

Do not worry, three matches a day is a limit for the so-called "Casual matches" which is easier game compared to normal and ranked ones because it is mainly populated by bots. The other user however is right: despite the game is awesome, its management is awful.

I agree, it is utterly stupid. Ranked games is what makes people competitive and turns the game more interesting in the long run. Placing it behind a paywall is laughable.

Guys, NA ranked was dead long time before and making the game only half free to play was the right way so far.

I don't think ranked would work if the full game would be free.

No, such a hack doesn't exist because it's not useful and very complicated to hack the servers of the game. Manipulating the client is the way to go and they can't manipulate your client because you're behind the server.

Another reason is, we also can report others through the replay.
So, join the replay of the match you've played, scroll to the time where you can see the guy you wanna report and report him. You will see it works that way and what happened to you was just a bug.

it is 3 match only for the noob map with more bots, if you select the random map you don't have any limitation a part from having maybe 50 real players (when lucky)

Im right there with you. What if it isnt the paywall thats keeping players from it though. there were 170k players on last night when i posted this. Maybe more on now. Youre telling mere there arnt 100 people in that 170k that want to play ranked? Is matchmaking broken or is it actually dead af?

80% of all players of PUBG just play in two regions. KAKAO and AS.
Both have 40% each.

NA has something like 1%.

You can use a VPN to connect to EU, for example.
South America, and that is only a rumor there, seems to has a working ranked mode too.

We needed the region lock because too many abused the function to connect to other regions.

Haha, no, it`s the main region in Asia = AS

SEA, for example, is South East Asia.
