Seems to work fine with DayZ. Private servers do get cheats on them, but they are much easier to root out and remove than public servers which are infested.
Clean private servers get a good reputation for being clean. Admin has tools to properly manage players and remove high ping players.
Clearly it works, and is a much better experience if you are interested in fair play. Getting enough players though would be the biggest issue as it's a dead game in most regions other than Asia.
You're really in no position to comment. A little bit of sql cut n paste doesn't make you a coder, chief. You have zero knowledge of my capabilities so assume away - I've seen some of your infantile stuff and you still haven't responded to who you know personally on the dev team out in Seattle - did you get the job? Didn't think so.
Come back when you have a little more sand in your pockets. And you still haven't apologized to Tek for your childish and 100% incorrect rant on his alleged cheating. Goes to show you're as dumb as the rest as you're unable to understand what a cheat looks like, let alone how one is coded.
Given up on playing during the day
I report, and get acknowledgements all the time and they get banned for a friggin day only - what a joke PuBG has become
Even funnier is trying to get 2 more wins to get my 1K win medal :(
Nah, your own comments scream that you have no idea what you're talking about.
Oh, how it hurts, what some random armchair programmer says. *faints*
I could try to explain it to you, but it'd go over your head.
Regardless of how you feel about certain software developers, I'm sure all of you can appreciate the hard work that goes into generating a passive income.
Seek help. Seriously. I have probably about 25 years of that "first-hand knowledge" that you speak about...probably more time in that area than you have been on the planet, kiddo, with a further 7 on top of that managing teams of coders (early years mod2, pascal, mid years lpc, a little cobol, c++ and later years managing dev ops teams). Watch who you pick arguments with, chief.
Did you get that job in Seattle for PUBG or not?
No, you didn't even get through the sift, you lying sack of lint.
But, no, your comments on anti-cheat and game development in general expose that you have none of those skills, chief. I am laughing so hard at this.
You're harmless.
what makes you think no one knows cheats like you know the vast players are not cheating, funny because when you check the concurrent players on some days and look at how many people were banned, well , i got screen shots as well but you do the math. on 9-4-24 (96,862) players were online when i checked. as of 8-26 thru 9-1-24 (126,064 players) banned for cheating on the pubg report, so they banned more players for cheating then the active current player base at the time, one of these days, your gonna look real bad
Right, its all a conspiracy. Thats why theres not a single pvp shooter that doesnt have just as much, if not more cheating.
A good point, but I don't think there is any PVP shooter in history that has been anywhere near close to the cheating evidenced in PUBG.....
today tpp ranked, chinese cheater lvl 886 using easy esp, knowing all position, kill our whole team with norecoil...........
...........................................................PUBG is dead :(
PUBG has banned 40 million plus accounts for cheating in it's lifetime.
Does COD BR get close to that?
https://www.windowscentral.com/gaming/activision-drops-the-ban-hammer-on-more-than-65000-call-of-duty-cheaters
PUBG banned over 130k last week (a drop in the ocean of cheats). This is routine. COD's ban waves are infrequent.
No doubt both games are infested with cheating, but PUBG's cheating issue dwarfs COD's, and is possibly the game with the worst cheating issue ever on PC.
