Trash anti cheat = trash game.
Lega you seem to ignore a lot of things. Like there are things not only game devs can do but Steam as well but neither do them.
Explain why game devs can't put some kind of "trigger" system where when somethings in the game that normally shouldn't happen like someone shooting 5 or 6 targets dead in quick succession from long distances away while spraying from the hip on full auto and not missing a single shot, where those type of situations happen it triggers the player in question to get booted from the game and temp banned while a human looks into it, why can't they do that? Even pro players are not that good. When those sort of superhuman things happen there should be a trigger to boot those players but there's not and there doesn't seem to be any intention of them doing something like that, and their should.
More server side scans aren't possible, it has to have a trigger and for PUBG it means, temporally ban and if necessary the devs activate scans for specific players.
This is how they block, reduce the impact of specific cheats like speed-hack etc.
Once more cheaters use one of the cheats that the server side system can detect, PUBG starts the scans, the cheaters see it gets detected quickly and they stop using it again.
This is the only way how games scan for cheats server side because no systems scans actively all the time and even if they do, they are only random sample survey/spot checks/samples, I don't know the correct word for it.
Triggers are the right way but 5 kills aren't enough. For bot-casual matches it can't be used at all because it just takes one hot spot of bots and we get plenty of kills in a short time. My best round in TPP casual bot matches had 23 kills, so I know this from my own experience.
10 kills could be a limit to trigger the ban but how many cases are there that actually reach this threshold? Not many, so it wouldn't do much. 5-8 kills in a short time are possible, especially late in the round. All you need to have is a good compound/position and farming players at the edge of the zone etc.
It might be a thing for Solo matches but I doubt anyone would see the difference because we had much better improvements nobody noticed.
Of course they are.
Please describe why it is impossible to do more....after you admit that there's many scanning methods they could employ.
What exactly makes it impossible to increase them?
I'm talking about 5 kills in a matter of seconds where there are zero shots missed and the distance of the shots are quite far where it would be almost impossible for someone not to miss at least one or two shots. That should trigger something. I don't see how they can't come up with some kind of trigger system, not so much scanning but triggering.
