Loading Screen (Smoke Scene) BUG
LOADING SCREEN BUG PUBG???

I often encounter a bug where I get stuck in smoke screen. This usually happens at specific times, such as when logging into the game (before initializing) and when returning to the lobby after a match ends. I can access the settings and press 'Restart Lobby,' but it doesn't solve the issue.
I have a PC with sufficient specifications to run, and a fast enough internet connection that I never experience lag while playing or running other games

What exactly is happening, and what is the solution?

I've been dealing with this for months. I stopped playing the game until a solution is found.
Stop smoking the gangja.

I'm also impacted by this bug. I have tried:

1) Updating GPU drivers (they were already the latest)
2) Running Steam as well as PUBG in compatibility mode
3) Running Steam and PUBG as an admin
4) Completely installing and reinstalling both PUBG and Steam from scratch

I'm at my whit's end!!

I know this thread is older, but I recently decided to get back into PUBG and I am having this problem as well. The game itself runs fine the times that I can actually load the starting lobby, but I just get the smoke after a match or 90% of the time that I try to just load the game. I have tried all of the above solutions as well as some weird ones I found like giving the game specific default sound options in Sound Settings and deleting the Movies.pak from the files. Neither of those options worked either for the record, but I was willing to try a lot of things. I have found a lot of threads with this problem, but none seem to find a solution before the thread dies.

Bumping this thread, I also have this issue.

It's a good thing I'm not the only one with this problem.
It takes a long time to load the lobby, sometimes I can't go in there at all and play quietly
Sometimes I play one game, and after I finish it, the download starts to be slow. I see only a smoke screen in front of me. I restart the game many times, but sometimes it works again. Most of the time I have to close the game with the task manager
I am also surprised by the fact that almost no one complains about this problem:shockedstar2022::shockedstar2022::shockedstar2022:

It's a networking issue. Devs changed something the last year, unsure what. But your ISP needs to increase TCP Idle Timeout to a minimum amount of seconds longer than a full Pubg match. (Basically you need to call them about it)

Use a different network, or something like ExitLag, or calll your ISP and ask them to set TCP Idle Timeout to be more than an hour

что надо сделать?
I turned off Windows Defender's real-time protection and turned off the firewall, and then everything ok.
