When I start up the game - the sound go from headphones to pc speakers

When starting up PUBG, the game changes from headphones to pc speakers (I use a gaming laptop). Only happens with PUBG, If I lay down the game and watch YouTube, the sound is in my headphones. But when opening up PUBG, all the sounds are on my pc laptop speakers. Annoying as hell, since I dont hear the footsteps so good as when I use headphones. This started to happen yesterday. Thank you for all the help I can get.

Have u alt tabbed and checked windows settings, for whatever reason PUBG seems to change your laptop's sound output source in Windows. Look for "playback devide" in particular in the sound settings.

Right click on the headphone symbol at the taskbar, click on sound.

Now look for the last tab, communication.

There you can pick the option, "Do nothing".

At the same menu, you also can change your output again in case it changed.
