Not true, game makers often reserve the right to do whatever they want.
VERY weak and elementary argument.
80-90 percent of the PUBG community is hardly a minority.
It doesn't matter anyway, most cheaters create multiple Steam accounts (like the gas-lighters on this forum) and just switch between non-banned accounts. Remember it's Free-To-Cheat, I mean play.
For the system, he's not a cheater but suspect and temporally banned means, they time outed him for further investigation.
Nothing more or less.
Proven cheaters don't get temp bans anymore.
"Proven cheaters" is an overgeneralized concept he uses to claim "We have to be 100% certain the ship is sinking before we deploy life rafts."
The underlying truth is, we as individual players, who can see with our own eyes very obvious aim-bots spectating lazy cheaters repeating the use (often a full arsenal) of cheats against more players after a suspicious death, report those garnished cheaters wearing season pass/g-coin skins. And following those reports, very, very, very few of them result in even a 24-hour temporary slap on the wrist, as long as they're wearing their expensive kindergarten outfits. Re: permanent bans--we as individual players reporting only those cheaters that we've scrutinized over, and there are many indeed after the bots have died off, might get one or two permanent ban updates PER THOUSAND HOURS OF PLAY TIME. The extreme efforts you suggest to go through in order to "bring it to their attention" is proof alone of Krafton/Tencent's intention.
That isn't proof of how few cheaters there are, that's proof of how corrupt the developer and it's troll farm marketing minions fervently defending it are.
Or they give us games with bots only, like the 10 new accounts get! Honestly, I´m tired of those cheaters!
read it again, everyone
That is well said. We all know based of the data krapton provides that 35-45% of the entire pubg playerbase is cheating. That is why despite having a terrible anti cheat solution that relies on player reports, they ban 100k per week.
The only thing better than permanently banning only free users that don't spend any money on their in-game content is to not permanently ban the vast majority of "proven cheaters" and to say they did with fabricated numbers and redacted names.
From their apathetic perspective, the effort to permanently ban anyone (that any good developer would have implemented from the very beginning) when they've allowed them to make an infinite number of burn accounts via their complicit platform (no mandated VAC connecting accounts) equates to frustrating their cash cows, potentially losing revenue. They are all enablers for cheating.
Freemium business model is bad for long-term business and affiliates. Sacrificing horrible optics for a quick cash grab that $400,000,000,000 Noncents has pushed hard to milk to death.
Even what we transmit via video is now
While it is completely inoperable. I wonder how cheaters that the system cannot even detect are permanently banned. Because the cheater accounts I have been following for a long time are still in the game. In this case, you are a liar again.
I got a daily ban in the past weeks, which shows that the anti-cheat in the game is only taken action based on the number of reports. and this is my 2-day ban.
I am someone who believes in what I see, not someone like you who tries to deceive people and spread misinformation. I am not someone who constantly changes what he writes.
In addition, a cheater has more than one backup account. there are various reasons for this.
It is a case of the anti-cheat failing to perform its normal function. It doesn't matter if the other party is a cheater or not, only a daily one-to-one ban. but after that, no action is provided. I get daily ban notifications of the same accounts for a week, but I have never seen any action taken against any of them.
