Error: You Need to Update Your Game Client

it says that my game client (27.1.1.69) is outdated and therefore needs to be updated, yet there are no updates available when i close the game. i even relaunched steam, but still nothing.
does anybody knows what the issue here and how to solve it?

Verify Integrity of Gamiles, the Game will realized your files are "wrong" and update the Game.
