does 32GB RAM give any improvement?
I wonder if exchange 2x8GB into 2x16GB RAM could give some visible improvement like fix stutter. I have problems like this in PUBG and Fortnite.

i5 11400, rtx3060, storage SSD SATA. I know I could use nvme, but come one. It shouldn't be stuttering anyway. especcialy on very low settings.

did someone upgraded RAM into 32GB and can claim it gave improvement?

No, more ram doesn't mean anything and 16 are fine for gaming.

I do use 3200mhz ddr 4 but CL14 and very decent timings and this is important.

Google, FPS Stutter and try all steps how to solve them because there are plenty of reasons.

No, 16 is still fine too but as I said.
There are plenty of possible reasons why you have stutter.

Xbox Game bar, for example.

Deactivate Windows game bar.

Windows button + i /gaming and deactivate game bar, recording and stuff.

Same for the overlay of Discord or other third party apps.

Broken files of Windows, heat, some temperature issues etc.

Open your search bar of Windows and write, cmd and open it pls with rights of admin. Now write sfc /scannow.

It's the repair tool of Windows for corrupt data.

Drivers often cause problems too and if you still have it after you did what I posted already, download Latencymon from a safe website you know and start it.

Join one round, press the play button of Latencymon and play until you get the stutter.
Now, join back to Latencymon and look for any abnormal delay and tell me the result please.

16 is too little for a lot of games. Especially when you have other apps in the background.

If I have PUBG, Steam, 1 browser tab and MSI afterburner on; I already use 16+ GB of RAM on the training mode. Let alone in an actual game with loot spawning in.

Plus if you see like 14/15GB usage when you have 16GB RAM, it basically means that it is full. So 32GB can definitely help to reduce 1% lows. You would never see 16 out of 16 used, because your system would freeze up.

The lowest RAM speed I would go is 3000MT with CL16, but preferable 3200MT or even 3600MT with CL16. Above that is usually too expensive for the performance gain.

Plus RAM is still pretty cheap last time I checked. You can get 32gb for like 60 euro.

If we play games, we shouldn't run much things in the backround and yes, 16gb of ram are more than fine today.

I don't say 32 GB are bad or something, except if people use a setup of 4 times 4 8gb sticks but I don't think it is the reason for his issue.
