(edited to add) - Also is this only happening now since the recent update? If so perhaps its another game bug.
I know some youtubers with this problem. All of them have 4090 graphic cards.
What trying to resolve problem:
- Chaging all settings of RAM, CPU, DX11-DX12 has no effect.
- Hardware acceleration GPU scheduling on/off.
- Virtualization on/off.
- HT on/off.
- Disabling E-cores.
- Process lasso
- Different nvidia drivers.
- Control flow guard on/off.
- Changing Timeout Detection and Recovery (TDR).
- Turn off overlay on steam, rivatuner, etc.
And many many other settings/tweaks.
Nothing work. At all.
In the crash log always this error message: LowLevelFatalError [File:D:\wk\tsl-client-dev3-branch\build\UnrealEngine\Engine\Source\Runtime\RenderCore\Private\RenderingThread.cpp] [Line: 1108] GameThread timed out waiting for RenderThread after 30.00 secs
My PC would just reboot. I've had this problem off and on for the last year. Just upgraded display to 1440p, got real bad. I've been searching for a solution for weeks. This worked for me.
"Dropping my CPU Performance Core Ratio down from 55x to 54x with the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility has fixed my crashes with games using DirectX12."
Even though I have pubg on directx11, it never happened since.
