so my specs are amd 5600, amd rx 6600, 64gb ram and multiple ssd drives, pubg is literally unplayable for me now. i have followed every guide or tip online as to get pubg to run but i am averaging no more than 20fps with atleast 10 seconds of input delay through both mouse and keyboard yet i used to be able to play with no issues. all my drivers are up to date i have done the whole fresh install etc nothing seems to get it to work at all even changing ingame settings. i can play tarkov at 180fps no issue mw3 at 120fps no issue arma 3 at 200fps no issue all on high or ultra settings, so whats the go with pubg? since it has gone f2p it is totally unplayable on my pc - i did purchase it originally before it was f2p and im pretty annoyed it now just sits in my uninstalled library because it just wont run.

I play with less than minimum specs with the worst issue being network lag. That said, 1 possible solution may be task mgr. details, tsl.game files, and set priority to high. Perhaps that may help if you have some open issues.. Also, set PUBG to SSD in Steam, not w/o.

have done these fixes and many more, all my steam games are on ssd as my pc is only ssd drives, no difference and as i said previously i never had these issues before and it is the only game that does it. even stepped down my monitor to 120hz instead of 240, same problems, done the launch parameters in steam same problem, tweaked amd settings in catalyst same problems, removed overclock and xmp profile, same problems, tried every grahpical setting in game and with catalyst and windows graphics settings, disabled gamebar etc same problems, reinstalled windows same problems, tweaked priority in task manager - same problems - Absolutely nothing has fixed it and it is the only game that does it. Doesn't matter what i try or do the input lag is minimum of 10 seconds cpu usage is 99-100% gpu usage is under 30% and same with ram usage being under 20% even running single monitor doesnt make a difference, switching back to an apu makes no difference yet i run tarkov,arma 3, mw3 at 200fps on high settings in 1080p comfortably even tried my other 60hz monitor same issues with pubg, its a complete joke as to why it wont run like it used to.

Am glad that I am not alone with this Problem.

I installed PUBG yesterday again, havent played for over a year. And since the installation yesteray, I was wondering wtf happened to the performance.
I could always play this game with good performance and now I have meanwhile even an upgraded Graphicscard. But it laaaaggs like hell, no matter what i do or fix.

PUBG is overly reliant on the performance of the CPU and RAM, and the RAM needs to manually go into the motherboard BIOS for overclocking optimization to reduce latency and stabilize FPS, and PUBG is not optimized for AMD graphics cards, so the frame rate of NVIDIA graphics cards in the same class will be higher.

If that would be true, I should be able to play this game even smoother - but, alltough all used what you mentioned, it got worse.

I used to get 240-300 fps before two last updates. Now i get around 90-200

i got the same prob as the original poster... i played multiple matches after the update but the next day the game crashed on lunch... and when i get it runing its like all slow everywhere even my whole pc stay slow 10 second after it closes the game... sad, i was a new player and liked the game pretty much.

mine is only a little better than yours and i get a constant 144fps on ultra

clean the dust from your computer and get rid of all your GPU bloatware. it might work

i have never had these issues with pubg even my old amd 3200g played it no problems the problems im having arose around the same time pubg went f2p and have become worse with each update now if amd was the problem my xbox series x and people on ps5 would be having the same problems as they both use zen 2 amd cpu's with amd rdna graphics architecture - the problem is on pc pubg shoots cpu usage up to 99-100% but utilises next to no gpu while running which makes no sense and like i have stated is the only game to do so on my pc no matter what i do or what settings i use - the game is a mess in terms of optimisation obviously and is only getting worse for some reason with every update, no fix works for it and im definitely not going to shell out for an nvidia card just for pubg as i have never had issues using amd compared to what i have with intel or nvidia for the last 15 years wouldnt make sense for me to switch back

legit poor optimization, idk what they are doing in the last 6 year, instead of fixing their game, they come up with some stupid zombie mode, cs like mode which pp will play in the first day and never touch again lmao haha, fking pathetic and i regret putting money to this stupid dev
