Hardware/IP ban is the only solution
after latest update, they have banned a lot of people and this is the reason why there are so many people with lower level accounts all of a sudden. They perman ban cheaters they make new accounts and come back to cheat. Hardware bans are the only solution. You should have noticed how people with lower level accounts just got bumped after last 2 updates. So they are on right path, but for stability, hardware bans are necessary.

I like that you see the last improvements. :cozybethesda:

Of course, hardware bans are necessary, and some improvements take a while before the cheater site can bypass it, but they will do it until hardware attestation makes it impossible.

TPM 2.0 will change this, but read the words of Gamerdoc the lead anti-cheat developer at Valorant.

TPM 2.0 CHANGE NOTHING !

PUBG does have hardware bans, but their HWID bans are unreliable since cheaters use spoofers to change their HWID.
Also dont fall for this TPM 2.0 sh1t. TPM 2.0 will change nothing, best case scenario it will give us fair players some time to play hackers free for 1-2 months unless cheat devs find a way to bypass that.

Everything can be hacked but this alone doesn't tell anything how well TPM 2.0 might work or not.

The system on the console was secure for several years until it got jailbreak.
Several years of protection and all this without a TPM module and console is still save because of one fact.

It is too complicated to make a business out of it because they need to hack the hardware.

Imagine cheater customers need to send their hardware to one store they don't even know.
Related to the fact of how often cheaters get scammed, not many would take the risk and this does not include how expensive it would be.

It's not even likely that cheat coders/sellers would even offer such a service because it far exceeds any cost/benefit factor.

Yes, they will hack but as Gamerdoc named, they can fight this well and even if they find a way it won't be a big issue.

If hackers find vulnerabilities, it will be reported and the service providers do release a patch to fix it and restore the integrity.

"Is there any patch for these vulnerabilities?

Intel upgraded their fTPM firmware to fix the reported vulnerabilities.

STMicroelectronics provided a new TPM firmware loaded on the same TPM device and we have verified that it is resistant against TPM-FAIL."
