New PUBG map: RONDO

What are your thoughts?

* Went back to PUBG due to the KFC skin, staying for a bit for RONDO.

Rondo sucks and put away all the fun. Maps without hot spots, looking like a mix of their predecessors (Taego and Deston) can't do any good. Now we have another clone of a map, that has a city that feels like a wasteland because not a soul lands there. Loot, run, die by hackers or pro players... that's the game. Give us back map selection so that I can enjoy Sanhok, or Karakin or Vikendi and maybe some of Erangel, but the rest can rot in some place. I want some action at the beginning of the match, then play mostly quiet, have some smaller fights and then try to win in the end. If I suck, don't let me land in a ghost city, rather show me directly in the beginning and let me immediately try again on the same map. Thanks.

Such a ♥♥♥♥ show you guys are making a new map but have problems with everything about the game. Connecting issues, ping, reconnecting loop, I will not even start with the cheaters. Focus on ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ funcionality

So, the new map is BEAUTIFUL. But it is huge. We just need to play it for a week or two weeks.

I had many good Rondo games yesterday. But today I get some FPS drops. Standard PUBG issues, since 2017, no news.

We just have to give it a chance.

I think its great, love the map, the graphics etc. good for car chased and being big makes you think about where you are. I hate the small CoD maps they are just fun suckers, big maps every time for me.

New map is great. So was Deston.

I feel genuinely sorry for the designers because they're doing a great job, knowing that their hard work is being ruined by the cheating problem. Still, good job.

Can you explain what is good about bigger maps? Biggest flaws for me being, that player counts are dropping, map selection had to be removed because of that, but now they put out a new big map everytime so that there are even more maps to be filled. Smaller maps are fast and fun in the beginning but have to be played tactical in the middle and end imho. Also when there's good players around, you didn't have to wait for 20 mins and chase the zone like a maniac just to find out and die. I'd rather be eleminated in the first 5-10 mins after intense matches and then prepare for the big fights at the end, instead of looting a big but empty city, because it's on the rim of a map and then be sniped while running into the zone.
What's your opinion on that?

For the exact opposite reason as to why you like small maps, they are training maps for beginners, Spray and pray, run and gun. Sanhok is the worst by far but i bet you love that one LOL. I like to explore, get cars, chase people, stalking, setting traps and waiting, sniping, dropping into high places, also the big maps make to time conscious. Lastly I hate going out quick, my aim is to make it to the top 10, its not a body count, i only need one kill to win. Anyway each to their own, have fun keep playing what you like.

Vikendi is still the best. Rondo is the mixture of paramo, taego, karakin, erangel, sanhook, and deston. LOL

Been playing Rondo some 20 matches more now.

The colors of the map and the terrain and the buildings was beautiful at first, but there is a big flaw.

The players blend in too much with the Rondo color scheme. It is much more easy to spot enemy players on Vikendi or Erangle or Sanhok for example. Even on Deston the color scheme is better.

So that is a huge disadvantage with Rondo. I am starting to get fed up with Rondo. Luckily we have Deston, Erangle, Mirimar and so on.

It´s too big! It has cool locations, but it´s too big in my opinion. And it looks a bit artificial. It´s nice for fights, tho. Lots of cover and interesting terrain.
The new SUV is terrible, btw!

It has enough cover. Thats fine on this map. But I don´t like to run around and drive for ages, to find any player.
