Could be a connection thing and should disappear like it came, later.
For example i have that issue when i play on EU servers with VPN.
I have a second house (in same city) with better PC specs but different ISP - it also loads way too long.
Also 2-3 days ago i came to PC club in my city, launched pubg and connection screen was same 30-60 sec. Dont know what is their ISP but according to subnet of IP - same as on my second house.
What is interesting though that my main PC with different ISP loads within 5 seconds.
I can only recommend changing your ISP,connecting via cable or changing your router. The issue is connection related.
There is no indicator for hardware issues and changing the ISP doesn't change anything because all kind of connections to get such issues once in a while.
VPN is a good tool to fight problems like this.
I did read a lot of complains about long loading times if people leave a match so this might be a PUBG, game related problem, hard to tell.
Changing ISP could help, and the chance it could help is very big.
Different providers invest different amount of money and build their network using different methods.
Some people live in regions where network still build by 1999 standarts, some people still use ADSL and PPPOE which is ridiculous.
I see your point but it only makes sense if people have such issues often and everywhere.
It depends on this point, otherwise, changing doesn't make sense.
I guess the developers of PUBG share same logic. No other explanation why game currently being on life support.
It could be PUBG or a routing data center close to the servers of PUBG a lot of users have to cross to reach the servers.
Therefore, a VPN is the first thing people should consider to see if they can fix it this way by getting a different way to the servers to bypass the faulty hop/routing data center.
Changing the provider is a huge step and doesn't make sense many times because many providers do rent the same connection from one main-host that owns the infrastructure.
Changing from DSL to Cable or Fiber does make sense but then again, only if people have major problems all or many times.
For the point of changing the ISP, there is a big if, not just because people have contracts and can't change that quickly so it is the last resort anyway.
Before I change the ISP, I need to have problems for several months across many games and internet related tasks.
many have that problem
me too
it is said that pubg changed the servers (location or hoster dont know)
the solution is: u have to spam shift and backspace (at the same time) several times in lobbyloadingscreen after match...it causes every time u hit shift and backspace it trys to reconnenct to lobby...after 3-5 hits on shift and backspace the lobby starts to initiliaze and loads
I still investigating the issue and here is couple steps which in theory could help you :
1. Navigate to router settings and try :
-Changing MTU to 1490.
-Disable VLAN and static DNS.
-Enable UPnP. (not issue related, but still worth trying)
-Disable Ipv6.
-Disable Firewall both in router and PC
-Enable port forwarding for - TCP and UDP: 27015, 27036 27031-27035, 80, 81 88, 443.
-Enable DNZ Host
2. In Windows :
Navigate to Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections - find your main network adapter (cable) - Right click - properties - and untick everything except Internet Protocol Version 4.
Then open Internet Protocol Version 4 tick the "Use The following DNS server adresses.
Type : 8.8.8.8
and 8.8.4.4.
3. Then Tweak your internet adapter driver :
Navigate to Control Panel\Device manager - Unfold Network Adapters, mine is Realtek PCIe 2.5GbE Family Controller, yours could be different. Open it :
Disable turn off to save power in Power managment.
Disable :
Advanced EEE
ARP Offload
Erergy-Efficent Ethernet
Flow Control
Gigabit Lite
Green Ethernet
IPv4 Checksum Offload
Jumbo Frame
Large Send Offload's
NS Offload
Power Saving mode
Priority & Vlan
Receive Side Scaling
Shutdown Ware-On-Lan
TCP and UDP Checksum Offloads
Wake on's
Enable :
Interrupt Moderation
Set :
Maximum Numbers of RSS Queues - 4if good CPU,1 if bad CPU (honestly leave at 4,its not that consuming)
Recieve Buffers - 512 or maximum possible, mine could only do 512.
Transmit Buffers - 4096 or maximum possible, mine could only do 4096.
If some of this help - please let me know.
If nothing from above helps - contact PUBG support, but big chance they wont help you.
Just wait untill dev fix it or keep changing ISP's.
