Extreme FPS drops and Input Lag

Since last update,the lobby works fine but as soon as I enter a game,be It BR,Ranked or Training,the game locks up to 30fps and the mouse and keyboard response is like 5 seconds back.

Anyone have the same issue or know any fix?

Verify the files of PUBG and check your in-game FPS limit setting please.

Maybe something has changed to the limit of 30 while your lobby setting still has 60 or unlimited.

If it doesn't help, reinstall the game clean please and update your drivers.

Open your search bar of Windows and write, cmd and open it pls with rights of admin. Now write sfc /scannow.

It's the repair tool of Windows for corrupt data.


Uninstall/reinstall PUBG
Sometimes issues occur where files are corrupted, permissions aren’t set correctly, or certain aspects of the game aren’t installed correctly. To fix this we need to completely uninstall PUBG and associated files.


1 Uninstall PUBG

Go to your Steam library
Right Click on PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS and select Uninstall
A windows will pop up asking for confirmation, click on Delete

2 Remove associated files

Press Windows Key+R
Type in %localappdata% and then press Enter or OK
Delete the folder TslGame, WELLBIA and Battleeye
Navigate to Program C:\Program Files AntiCheatExpert folder delete it if the folder exist.
Navigate to Program Files\Common Files and delete the PUBG, UNCHEATER or Wellbia folder depending on what you have there.
Navigate to Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye and delete the file BEService_pubg.exe
Navigate to Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common and delete the folder PUBG
In Steam go to Settings>Downloads and click on CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE
Restart Steam

3 Reinstall PUBG
