How to increase enemy footsteps?

I have hard time noticing enemy footsteps, but when my teammate moves 20 meters away its so loud i cant hear anything near me. It's like my teammate is walking on top of my head while the enemy steps sound like they're 5 houses away.

disable HRTF. It makes more difficult to identify gun sounds position but it turn better to hear footsteps
