And during the death cam replay his perspective was in third person? So he was in FPP playing TPP? My settings are always on FPP.

Yeah he was tracking me through walls and the death cam perspective was in third person.

Was it the deathcam or replay?

In case it was the replay, you probably switched to TPP by an accident.
Even FPP matches can be watched as TPP perspective or even as a eagle entirely free.

You don't need to see the actual cheats to see or know when someone is tracking yous through walls objects hills etc it is pretty obvious when they keep following your id tag even though they can't see you, then kill you almost instantly when you come into sight.

I watched the death cam when he killed me and it showed him in third person perspective. I have FPP on and wasn't accidentally on TPP.

To be fair, they have made improvements on countering cheating. I played 10 games yesterday and only 1 had a cheater.

My friend what you saw was a Bot. I've watched many replays of my games and i ALWAYS play in FPP, the bots only use 3rd person view, they know where every player is and have aim lock. They switch the aim from player to player, their movement is completely ridiculous and they love to hide behind trees.

I also reported this bot thinking it was a cheater, but after some more investigation i noticed that it was a whole squad of bots, they just showed up with loot and all started shooting without clear sight of the enemy. Of course they all got oneshotted in the head. And in other replays, same story. But i'm impressed at how few bots i actually find while playing.

Maybe you got unlucky and the bot managed to kill you, or it was a super bot with aim lock, those still exist but are pretty rare.

I'm no expert in these cheating matters, only scumbags cheat anyway, but from what i've seen even cheaters you can see in the 1st person pov, but never bots, that's always 3rd person pov.
