So I do have the issue with invidia cards, but it's not nearly as pronounced as the problem you're having. Honestly depending on the play and distance to other players you don't notice it in game. I only initally noticed it from replays. Like I said, it's 3-5.
One of the most stupid takes on GPUs I have seen recently.
In contrast to Nvidia GPUs, AMD GPUs actually gain a lot of performance over the course of their lifespan thanks to driver updates.
My buddy also experiences the FPS drops and he is running a 4090 GPU.
Till this day its unknown what pubg using to render smokes - CPU or GPU.
If your Buddy having Decent CPU and 4090 GPU - please open nvidia control panel and change PhysX render setting from CPU to GPU. Also make sure threaded optimisation is enabled.
Completely inaccurate information but I expect nothing less from a bloke who plays secure area on rainbow six siege.
300fps+ with my 6700xt, no issues with temps or stability. I know you're a bit special but give it a rest.
