You’re full of excuses. This has been going on with no resolution for over a month. This is the last time I’m going to ask you to get me the Tech support manager. Stop with the bs responses. Are you kidding me? That’s the technical support answer I’ve been waiting for over three weeks???? Are you serious?? That was one of the first troubleshooting steps I’ve undertaken. This is pathetic. Put me in touch with the HEAD of you tech support! You have wasted my time and have not been helpful at all. This is ridiculous!!

You can try resetting the drive using DDU (DISPLAY DRIVER UNINSTALLER). Reinstall the drive that is suitable with the graphic card using GeForce experience.

I believe you are doing great today. I see that you are encountering a crash while playing the game. I appreciate you for bringing this to our attention and trying the troubleshooting steps. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience caused.

Being a player, I can relate, this must be frustrating and can ruin the experience you have had with the game so far. Not to worry, let me assist you with this.

These issues are most likely caused due to a missing Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015. Although you have downloaded and installed directx12, I recommend checking whether your PC has the latest Direct X or not. Usually, this also happens when the latest windows update is corrupted. I suggest checking for the latest Windows update. If you don't find any updates, you can proceed to delete the latest update and then redownload the update again.

Please try a few troubleshooting steps to eliminate the issue as this has helped and solved many players' issues:

1. msvcp140.dll file missing error

I'd request you to follow the below troubleshooting steps in order to fix this issue.

1. Update/Reinstall Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015. You can download the tool from Microsoft’s support page.
2. Install the latest update for Universal C Runtime in Windows

2. SFC scan:

1.Right-click Windows key and select Command Prompt (Admin).
2.Type sfc /scannow and hit Enter. This function looks for corrupted system files and repairs them. This method might help you identify the corrupted file. Therefore, this function can help you replace the damaged MSVCP140.dll file if it’s provided by Microsoft.

Hello, so, my problem has gotten worse and I have tried basic trouble shooting, changed and lowered settings, clean reinstalled GPU NVIDIA driver, deleted game and reinstalled. I’m banging my head against the wall, the stutters have gotten much worse and longer in duration, as far as I can tell my Ping is below 100, my internet speed is good, I don’t know what else to do, this is very, very frustrating. Please help with next steps!!! I’ve tried different graphic settings, nvidia control panel settings, monitor refresh rate…etc. Nothing is working.

PS. I have run Dell Diagnostic test on the GPU and it is fine, in fact in Dell Support assist, the PC passes the hardware test, pls see attachments.


My specs as follows:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.19 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable) 2400 MHZ DUAL CHANNEL
GPU: GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB, PSU: 850 W EVGA BQ 500gb WESTERN DIGITAL BLUE SSD

It's fake support. Simply cut and paste off the default answers. When actual support is needed, it's not there. How is a month of no meaningful support so good?

You can only get support if the problem has been found already and they have a cut and paste answer for it. The thing is, that's what online forums already have...so what's the point of having support if they are unable to support issues.

Choco Taco's issues on his pc were case in point, PUBG Support unable to actually help one of the main partners for PUBG with constant crashing other than followed the tired script of, validate files, re-install etc. When that doesn't work....there's no support.

There's no misunderstandings. It just plain old terrible customer service. You only have to look through the social media pages of PUBG and Steam to see that any meaningful customer support or service is well below what is expected.
