cmon i can run gta5 with 120 fps stable.
I get a few of you are having problems but you're not helping yourselves here, if you need help give us a list of steps of what you've done to try resolve your issues along with your configurations both hardware and software..like what components are in your PC, what software configs are you using like default Windows setup or did you disable or install extra software like third party Antivirus etc..is your system overclocked, what settings are you using for PUBG? Have you updated your Windows install? Have you updated your graphic drivers? Also if you're using Windows 11 be prepared to deal with growing pains within that OS, its unstable and a lot of software and drivers are having issues which affect performance and stability.
I suggest reformatting your drive, reinstalling Windows (preferrably Win10) downloading and reinstalling your chipset drivers and your graphics drivers from their official websites (amd/nvidia). Don't install any other third party software until you've had a chance to test your PUBG install... IF you don't want to do that here are my other suggestions...
If you're still experiencing issues and you don't want to do the reformant/reinstall process of Windows try the SFC and DISM commands.
Good luck
vsync on really helps the performance and stability in pubg for some weird reason
VSYNC on is slower latency yes, but its still hundreds of times more responsive than we are. It just takes a few seconds to get used to the new slightly less sensitve mouse feel of vsync enabled. But the stable performance more than makes up for it i get way more kills now.
Half a year ago I upgraded gfx from a 1060. With that card I had around 60fps stable (even while streaming 1080p with 6000kbit/s).
So it's not only the old 1060 which is causing bad FPS. It IS a not optmized game that runs on an engine that was not designed for those type of games eg large maps and player amount.
You can either beat it with more powerful hardware or just tweak your driver and game settings even more to get the best result out of your 1060.
still runs everything perfectly, i even had to limit my fps to 60 in the newest uncharted game because my fps was TOO HIGH
I only play at 1920x1080 and the new 12700k cpu i got seems to have made it even stronger than it already was
i can even play games people with brand new pcs cry about like calisto protocol and dead space remastered at a rock solid 60fps. Maybe i just stumbled upon the perfect config that transends time and space?
But i only get 8 frames per second in alan wake 2, and my friend with a gtx1080 claims he gets 10 frames per second in alan wake 2.
Yet im looking around in alan wake 2 trying to find which specific pixel is the one that looks 1000x better than other games warranting such a performance downgrade. Spoiler. There isnt one. Its BS. They claim the gtx1080 doesnt have something called 'Mesh shader" support.. Wtf is that? Its a game that does nothing unique nothing special.. Yet all of the sudden my card is not compatible? Wtf?
TLDR the gtx 10 series is still relevant in 2023
