The most important rule is, don't leave a game in non-ranked matches if the plane has started already. As long the round hasn't started we are able to leave all matches without getting any punishment.
I don't play with randoms so nobody does report and this is how I got level 4.
I can imagine that playing with randoms has some negative impact even if we don't do something wrong just because mad guys do report us.
I don't think there is a way how we can avoid it, unfortunately.
alright, now that I finally saw someone with level 4 I at least know that it's possible. I think that's enough to keep me motivated^^
thank you very much!
(although I won't leave matches before the plane starts anyway;D)
I have to say, getting level 5 seems to be very hard because I stuck on 4 for quite a while now.
If the round has started already and you still need to leave, just die anyhow and you won't lose reputation.
I believe driving to school at the start of the match while being completely unaware of 20 players still alive there is however a totally accidental death and won't reduce your reputation level. :DDD
I would just focus your question to the very purpose of "Reputation score" instead of the way it works.
A player does not have any chance to know reputation level of their random squad mates before the game starts. This means that, if you are playing with some griefers, cheaters, teamkillers (and everything else that might explain a "1" score) in your team, you don't get any preemptive warn about it and you might face bad surprises in the mid of a game. The only way you become aware of your squad mates's reputation is to wait until you are back in the lobby and check their stats from there. Which is little covenient in the context of online gaming.
I read somewhere in this forum that, once people reach the "1" reputation score, they are eligible for a ban. I hope it is true because, if reaching "1" reputation score has no practical effect in terms of enforcing fair play, this reputation system will definitively have no useful purpose at all.

Also it's a little concerning (at least for me with my level 2) that even level 1 is grounds for getting banned… Yeah I'll stop playing with randoms completely I guess.
I believe that when you search for a match you will be getting players that you play with and against with a similar reputation level. Probably it searches for players with your level, one level lower and one level higher max. Not sure though.
Obviously, players with low reputation level, whether they are on your side or against you, will be doing one or more of these things, since this is how they earned it in the first place:
- Leaving early
- Killing teammates
- Cheating (judging by player reports, if anti-cheat itself detects cheats it bans instead of lowering reputation)
- Griefing (judging by player reports)
- Intentionally committing suicide
- Abuse other players over voice chat
and many more things.wow, sounds like a greeeeaaaat social credit system.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ commie bastards
Yeeeess:D However I find the idea of placing a person with other people like them good since it only impacts their life indirectly, through actions of other people. After all, you can't not agree with "treat others like you want them to treat you", right? Social credit system however is much more intrusive (and biased because there's only one entity deciding what is good and what is bad — the government) since you get punished for your actions directly. This would be exactly the same if you could (I'm not sure if you can) get banned for having a low reputation level.
I think I just lost 1337000 social credit by posting this
i don't, because there's a reason i went down and that's because i tell people when they behave like a bunch of stupid wannabe rambos and screw up the match by this.
now, i have to deal with even more of these nutjobs.
i'm sick and tired of random idiots who think the game is call of duty, just to get moved down in an obvious ambush.
and there aren't that much people in my friendslist to play with decent players in like 70-80% of the time i wanna play duo/squad.
