My sound became very low and poor quality with latest update, when before that it was perfectly crystal clean and even too loud for my ears when the volume was up to 100%.
My own and other player's footsteps used to make a lot of bass sound, now I can barely hear them from a few meters away with no bass at all. Same thing for the cars engine sounds, plane etc.
It's gamebreaking.
100% "fix" trust me...
go into your third-party-sound-options "Realtek" or what ever you have... go into
the graphic equalizer and turn down ALL low/bass sounds and increase the high... also all bass extentions you might enabled... just create a new profile for pubg if you can... you will hear things you never knew existed and also it will turn up the volume alot...
also pubg does not support 5.1 or 7.1 so set everything to STEREO...
Thank you all for the input so far. Actually, I am glad that I am not the only one with this issue. That means that this might actually be a pubg bug.
Thank you very much for this information. I have tried to manage the equalizer of Logitech. The bass sounds are now decreased and the high sounds are increased. Also the surround sound effects are disabled for pubg. I must admit, yes the sounds are a bit louder but it is still too low on volume for me.
Thanks for the support though.
Anyone else who is having the same and who found fixes?
