He saw you sticking out. I understand the fact that you were so far away, prone and through a small window but they could have simply looked at that part of thier monitor. I have been killed in a simular way, shortly after the person simply missed me running from cover to cover.
Thier eyes rested on that spot and saw you. Just bad luck.
*Hit*
Be closer to the tree next Time.
You asked a question, you got a reply. Then you insult me. There was no questionable play there..You didnt get the response you wanted
Your comment has no bearing on the video. There is no foul play evident in that video. I was giving him advice, dont witchhunt players that kill you ,you'll just get salty. sound advice, not a bashing or rude statement. a fact. If your implying i dont think cheaters exist in this or every single multiplayer game, your wrong.
It wouldn't help.
Esp cheat existed before replays and deathcams, they work by reading the data your game needs to place other players in the correct spot. Without the data your client copy of the game wouldn't even know where to say sound effects like gun shots and footsteps were, let alone whether that person is hiding behind the tree or leaning to the left of it.
The fix for it is a mixture of limiting the ability of outside software to read that data (not actually 100% possible, but can always be made more difficult) and detection/logging for when a client does try to access the data, which can be used to determine banning someone, regardless of whether that particular attempt was succesful in reading the data.
Just because he is "scanning the area" doesn't mean he isn't cheating. A good cheater would not make himself stick out, so faking that he is scanning the area would be something to do to make it look less obvious that he is cheating, that is if he is cheating. The short video is inconclusive either way.
